Lolly & Lotus is a family-run second-hand vintage and reworked clothing business, established in 2021 by Lolly.
Built on a lifelong love of vintage clothing, craftsmanship, character and personal style, every piece is chosen for its quality, individuality and story.
A lifelong eye for vintage
Long before sustainability became a fashion buzzword, Lolly was buying, wearing and collecting vintage pieces — drawn to the quality of the fabrics, the tailoring, the history and the feeling that every garment had already lived a life before finding its next one.
For Lolly, style has always been instinctive — mixing eras, textures and references without following rules.
From military surplus to one-of-one reworks
As lifelong denim lovers, we began focusing more heavily on denim — especially 90s Levi’s Engineered twisted jeans, denim jackets, dresses, shorts and overcoats.
This is where the idea for our now well-known upside-down jeans was born.
The first fifteen pairs sold straight away.
A lifelong eye for vintage
From there, each week became a hunt for beautiful 90s denim and archive pieces reworked into one-off garments with new shape, attitude and purpose.
As the pieces developed, camo, leather, velvet and military fabrics were introduced, creating the distinctive Lolly & Lotus rework style.
Archive, designer vintage and the next chapter
Alongside the reworks, Lolly had been collecting and selling second hand Vivienne Westwood denim, especially pieces from Anglomania, Red Label, Gold Label and couture collections.
Vintage Westwood handbags later joined the collection and quickly became a key part of the Lolly & Lotus world.
Today, our Portobello customers come from all over the world — the USA, Japan, Italy, Australia and beyond. Again and again, we were asked the same question:

So this is our next chapter.
